The Saudi Education Summit – A balanced approach, which was held in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) on 10 and 11 September, and was attended by Iván Martínez, principal of SEK International School Riyadh, and Sandra Ospina, deputy principal of learning and innovation at the same school.
In line with advances in different areas in Saudi Arabia, the objective of the conference was to serve as a forum for the country’s educators to establish contacts and debate innovative solutions to medium and long-term challenges.
Iván Martínez, together with other education officials from high-level institutions in Saudi Arabia, participated in a round table discussion on the future of the education system and the transition towards innovative and future-oriented approaches.
Meanwhile, Sandra Ospina collaborated in planning the event along with six other education professionals. She was one of the advisers who has been planning of the summit for about a year. She also participated in a discussion forum in which committee members shared their ideas and aspirations for the upcoming summit.
