SEK Lab organizes the final of the GESAwards, the world’s largest competition for Edtech startups

SEK Lab has held the Spanish final of the GESAwards, the largest global competition that seeks the most innovative Edtech startups, with the greatest impact on education and with the greatest capacity for growth. The event took place, in a hybrid format, in the SEK Lab space of the Almagro Campus of the Camilo José Cela University.

These awards, created in 2015 by MindCET, the benchmark Edtech accelerator based in Tel-Aviv and partner of SEK Lab, have welcomed more than 6,000 startups from more than 120 countries. In this event, the winning startup of the Spanish final has been chosen, which has turned out to be Kimple, a platform for teachers with current projects “that promote the learning of essential knowledge and skills for today”.

Kimple has obtained a direct pass to the world final, to be held in January 2022 at the BETT Show in London. In 2020 the world winner was the Spanish Genially, and in 2021 the 6th globally was the Spanish Singularity Experts.
