Innovation in learning spaces must be a constant aspect of education. At SEK spaces are flexible and facilitate student and teacher collaboration and teamwork and bring together all the necessary resources for students’ all-round development. The spaces are designed for learning.
They are open classrooms that encourage active methodologies, inquiry, experimentation, the acquisition of knowledge at students’ own speed and the development of social, cooperative working, critical thinking and self-awareness skills with the help of technology and other resources.
Created with the younger students in mind, these spaces favour stimulation and relaxation in a safe environment, with elements such as music, coloured lights, aromas and textures.
Through this methodology, students learn around a table where ideas are debated, exchanged and critical thinking and teamwork are encouraged.
These are spaces for learning through active methodologies such as learning by doing, design thinking and gamification. The students take centre stage in their own learning and set up projects born from their own ideas.
Tue outdoor spaces where activities designed for the natural environment are integrated with the aim of learning about the environment, developing creativity and empathy and carrying out experiential learning that promotes social skills, research and appropriate skills for optimal personal development.
This training ship offers students the opportunity to connect classroom learning with the real world through unique experiences at sea. Students from SEK Schools can be part of the Posidonia Lab aimed at studying the impact of human action on the sea and the conservation of the Mediterranean. Learning spaces include virtual environments that enrich students’ educational process and extend their possibilities at any time and from anywhere.
From Early Childhood to Baccalaureate, the use of devices, HyFlex cameras for hybrid learning and digital platforms limitlessly broadens every student’s learning opportunities.
In addition, our schools have excellent sports facilities, libraries and physics, chemistry and biology laboratories.
