SEK Qatar International School welcomed Jorge Carbajosa, Spanish ambassador in the Arab country, who has met and had the opportunity to chat with several students during his tour of the different classrooms.
In addition, the ambassador gave a short talk to the students in which he talked about what a diplomatic career is like and what the functions and responsibilities of his position are.
Visits by dignitaries such as Jorge Carbajosa are common at SEK-Qatar. A year ago, the school welcomed the Minister of Foreign Affairs, EU and Cooperation of the Government of Spain, Arancha González Laya, and the ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain to the State of Qatar, Belén Alfaro Hernández.
