The 4th SEK International Schools Science Congress is a meeting space where research rigor, effective communication, and a strong sense of purpose form the foundation of learning. This event brings together students, educators, and international experts to share knowledge, experiences, and projects that reflect deep personal, relational, and intellectual transformation in the sciences.

The Congress aims to foster key skills such as intercultural empathy and lifelong learning through sharing the findings of investigations carried out in school labs across the SEK network. It also creates a space to listen to and engage with other students and experts from the scientific community.

This streaming video invites the online audience to join us for the Opening of the IV Science Congress at 10:00 (CET).

Congress Forum

The Congress Forum is the focal point of the event and brings together the whole community for the keynote speech, round table discussion and closing remarks.

At this year’s edition of the Congress, we are privileged to be joined by Dr. Alberto García Redondo, a leading expert in genetic diagnostics and neurodegenerative diseases and Principal Investigator at the Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre (i+12) in Madrid. In addition to sharing his professional experience and expertise in genetic counseling and the molecular diagnosis of rare neuromuscular diseases such as ALS, Dr. Alberto García Redondo will be engaging with SEK students and educators in a roundtable discussion on the role and impact of genetics in medical treatments.

Congress Forum starting at 12:10 (CET).
