Several students from Harvard University, all doing their PhD in Education, have visited SEK-El Castillo as part of their programme. As part of their three-year doctorate, these students visit schools that stand out thanks to their teaching style and learning model, as is the case of the SEK Education Group schools.
During the day, the students from the American university took part in several education workshops. The first one consisted of the study of emotional intelligence, with activities to strengthen positive emotions. The following workshop was an immersion in Spanish and English language, with exercises such as individual and collaborative work in the use of different learning platforms with computers, or other collective collaborative activities.
Harvard students spent the rest of the visit in entrepreneurship activities, individual and group presentations by students on International Baccalaureate programmes and workshops on concepts and learning skills.
