UCJC: Commitment to Sustainability

The Camilo José Cela University (UCJC) is committed to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda. One of the fundamental pillars is sustainability, and the UCJC has taken concrete steps to promote it within its university community.

The UCJC is developing a plan to promote sustainable mobility in collaboration with other European universities. The “3Cs Cycling, Campus and City” project aims to raise awareness of the benefits of active mobility (on foot or by bicycle) when commuting to the university.

Within the campus, the UCJC has an eco-garden. This learning and collaborative work experience promotes sustainable agriculture and the connection with nature. Participants learn to create and maintain a garden under the principles of organic farming, thus contributing to sustainability and the well-being of the environment.

The Master’s Degree in Corporate Sustainability Strategy and Management provides comprehensive training to integrate social, environmental and governance objectives into the business environment. Students master the fundamentals needed to operate sustainably and contribute to global sustainable development.
