SEK-Santa Isabel, pioneer in applying immersion technologies in the classroom

Robotics students of SEK Santa Isabel International School know the advantages of augmented reality and virtual reality have in their daily learning. They have a new tool in class, The Education District, a 3D virtual world focused on the development of skills and abilities through collaboration and gamification.

In a safe and easy to use environment, in The Education District, students use an avatar (virtual identity chosen by the user to represent it on a website) to visit the virtual campus of their school, take guided tours to emblematic monuments, go on language exchanges, or even create their own buildings.

With these tools learning becomes more enriching and is more meaningful since it is based on students’ own experiences.
