A year ago, SEK Group -SEK International Schools and Camilo José Cela University- was recognized with the B Corp seal for its commitment to the most demanding criteria of social and environmental performance, transparency and corporate responsibility.
The educational group then joined this movement, which promotes ethical and innovation values, as the only educational entity in our country.
A year later, the SEK Education Group is already part of the first 100 B Corp companies in all of Spain, with thousands of committed people who are transforming the global economy to benefit all people and the planet.
Under the motto #SomosCien, we celebrate being among the top one hundred B Corp companies in Spain, companies of different sizes and industries recognized for putting people and the planet at the center of all activity. Together with more than 4,000 companies around the world, we lead a global movement of people working to promote change. And to commemorate this celebration, the SEK Education Group has received the visit and recognition of BCorpSpain, to celebrate that we are 100 companies showing that another world is possible.

B Corp is the global standard that recognizes companies that have a real and evident social commitment, that act every day to change the world, through a rigorous, complex and exhaustive evaluation process not only to be the best in the world, but also , above all, the best for the world. Through a rigorous, complex and exhaustive evaluation, the non-profit organization B Lab monitors compliance with the highest standards of social and environmental performance, as well as transparency and legal responsibility, to publicly recognize those companies that have a purpose of real positive impact and put it into practice in their operational environment.
Currently, the B Corp movement is formed in Spain by more than 8,000 workers from 100 very diverse companies from different fields and industries: from startups and SMEs, to family businesses and large multinational companies.
To date, in Spain, only 4.5% of the more than 4,500 companies that use the Impact Assessment tool B have managed to become B Corp, and in global terms, only 3% of the 140,000 companies that are have started in the process to become B Corp have managed to meet the demanded requirements.
