The 18th Spanish Session of the Model European Parliament was held in Léon between 2 and 5 March, 2018, a Parliamentary Debate educational model. SEK-Alborán Debate Club took part in it.
Following the qualifying round, in which they carried out a rehearsal and participated in an online forum, the SEK-Alborán Debate Club from SEK International School Alborán attended the National Session as Delegation of Andalusia.
Primary students from years 1 and 2, Carlos Amat, María Luisa Cara, José Juan Gómez and Nerea Pérez, tackled and debated tax havens, religious freedom, integration and common defence of the EU. All of them were taught by Javier-Eladio Guzmán, who was very proud of the performance of these young parliamentarians.
