Nieves Segovia takes part in the WISE round table discussion

Nieves Segovia, President of SEK Education Group, was invited to take part in the 2017 World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE), held in Doha (Qatar) from 14 to 16 November.

Segovia headed a round table discussion on 15 November, analysing and discussing education technology (EdTech), and answering different questions on how investors analyse EdTech product viability before investing, or what are some of the main challenges facing EdTech products before they are launched on the market.

Students from SEK Qatar International School also took part in WISE. Several students took part in workshops on the use of 3D printers, robotics and textile manufacturing, in addition to taking part in the event’s opening and closing workshops.

This year’s motto for the event was “Co-Exist, Co-Create: Learning to Live and Work Together” and reflects WISE’s commitment to meet the major challenges in education in today’s world.
