Nieves Segovia , President of SEK Education Group, has been chosen by the cluster of companies in the ICT sector in Education, Edutech , to be part of its board of directors.
Edutech aims to promote business competitiveness, offer quality technology services, convey the importance of ICT in the teaching-learning process and transform an overly traditional sector in our country, giving more visibility to digital tools that help improve the learning of the students.
One of its distinctive features is that it brings together leading companies of different types and sizes, such as educational, technological, service or content platforms, ranging from small start-ups to the leading multinationals in the technology sector .
The cluster’s new team will be chaired by Pablo Lara , Director of the Education Area of Grupo Planeta , and Óscar Sanz, Director of Education at Microsoft , who will serve as Vice President.
