The Garrigues Study Centre (CEG) joined the Junior Law School initiative, in which SEK-Ciudalcampo students took part in a video competition aimed at all CICAE school students.
The competition, called Influencer Law, consists of posting a three-minute video to Instagram, Youtube or TikTok in which they will address a topic related to the field of law. For example, students will be able to speak about topics such as fashion law, the regulation of influencer advertising promoting brands, the protection of privacy on social media, analysing why law should be studied and what are the challenges they face in this field, and the role of national borders in a global world, emphasising, for example, the war in the Ukraine.
The prize for the winners will be a scholarship covering 70% of the cost of the BA in Law and the MA in International Business Law at the Centro de Estudios Garrigues, one of the most prestigious higher education business and law centres in our country. The runner up will obtain a scholarship that will cover 50% of the same degree.
Participants will have until the 25 May to post their videos on any of the social media channels included in the contest, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok, and the winner will be announced on 6 June. Students interested in taking part should send a request to the email ayudas.estudio@centrogarrigues.com.
Junior Law School, a training experience in the legal field
The Junior Law School programme offers an educational experience in law in the areas of legal entrepreneurship, consumer rights, technology and business and human rights.
Its objective is to offer students the possibility of training in legal matters and awaken in them an interest in law and its application to different branches of knowledge.
The programme is promoted by CINNED and by CICAE as an official collaborator. It is taught at Camilo José Cela University, the ISDE Law Business School, CIS-Spain and at Nebrija University, with the support of the Pérez-Llorca law firm.
