The Demo Day UCJC Impact Lab 2025 brought together the 10 finalist projects from the social impact startup ecosystem promoted by Camilo José Cela University (UCJC). This event marks the conclusion of the annual incubation program, in which students transform their ideas into real ventures aimed at generating a positive impact on society.
The UCJC Impact Lab is a space for training, mentoring, and support, designed for students who want to launch startups with a purpose. Over several months, participants develop key skills in sustainability, innovation, technology, and leadership, while receiving expert guidance and building connections with the national and international entrepreneurial ecosystem.
A day of inspiration and real support for social entrepreneurship
The 2025 edition of Demo Day, held at the Castellana Campus, was a vibrant afternoon of innovation, creativity, and social commitment. The event featured a top-tier jury composed of:
- Alejandra Bogas, founder and CEO of Efímero
- Karina Taboelle, investment consultant and venture scout
- Nacho Alonso Cembrano, president of Pinama Capital23
- Katalina Mikhailova, editor at Fearless Magazine
Each team presented their pitch in a dynamic format, showcasing the transformative potential of their proposals. In addition to the startup presentations, Alejandra Bogas gave an inspiring talk on female leadership and entrepreneurship, and UCJC student and magician Pablo Sogo delivered a surprise performance.
In his welcome speech, the UCJC Rector emphasized the importance of supporting students who choose to launch ventures while still in university. “Today we not only recognize their efforts, but we also support the winners with seed capital to boost projects that have a positive social impact,” he stated.
